What type of events does The Event Company specialize in planning?
OCCATION EVENT PLANNER With our many years of experience, our friendly demeanors, and our ability to think creatively, we have earned a reputation as one of the top Wedding Planner. We believe in translating your vision into the perfect wedding or event. Our upbeat personalities and strong work ethic combine to make occasion event a wedding planning powerhouse.
How early should you start planning an event?
Anywhere from 9-12 months prior to the wedding date is a good time to start planning. You don’t want to wait until the last minute and feel overwhelmed, but you also don’t want to be planning for too long. I do recommend hiring your wedding coordinator right away, even for the ‘month of/day of’ package. You have to ensure the coordinator is available for your wedding date. I already have weddings booked for 12 months from now!
How far will you travel for an event?
Since launching the company, we have helped to host events throughout the country and even helped to Planing an event overseas for one client.
What are some general tips or advice that you often give to your clients to help them in their planning?
Plan ahead.
Develop a realistic budget.
Make out your wish list – things that you want to have at your event – certain flowers, a particular DJ, a fun theme, etc.
Select an event planner so that you can focus on other parts of the celebration – determining your guest list, promoting your event, etc.
This is NOT the time to be stressed about such a fun occasion. We are here to help guide our clients so that they can also embrace the event.
How much Service cost do you charge ?
Wedding planners generally charge a management/service fee, which is typically a percentage of the total wedding budget and amount of work and is finalised after discussions with you. However, there are costs savings you will receive from the special rates offered exclusively to us by our vendors and suppliers. Hiring us does not necessarily cost you more than your planned budget.
Do you charge separately for your various event services?
Some of our services come standard, others are priced separately. In order to get an idea of what your event will cost, contact us to speak with one of our friendly event planners today. They can give you a free estimate based on your individual needs.

My experience and my friendly personality. I am able to take care of all the details in an organized & business-like manner, while maintaining my poise, style & grace. With my past experience as a Corporate and Wedding Planner , I learned so many aspects on the venue side. I gain more experience with every wedding that I do, coming across all kinds of different brides, styles & trends. I truly love what I do and want every wedding to be perfect for my brides.
What type of packages do you offer?
We offer 3 packages depending on what type of service the bride is looking for and how much assistance. We have our Signature Package, which is our ‘month of/day of’ package. We have our Premium Package, which is a mid-level package. And we have our Ultimate Package, which is our full-service package. We can also customize packages to meet specific needs.
How do I book a date with you?
By emailing, calling or filling out the contact form on our website. We will schedule a free, no obligation consultation with you to make sure we are a good fit and that we can meet your needs. Most consultations take about 1 hour.
Will you work with vendors we select, or only those you recommend?
You can engage us at any stage of the planning process. If you have already started planning your wedding and have hired your own vendors, we are happy to work with them. If you’d like a hand sourcing vendor we can assist with that as well. Or if you’d like to hire all your own suppliers and hire us just for coordination, we have a range of plans to suit your needs.
Where does most of your business come from?
Referrals are huge in this industry. I get a lot of leads from other vendors such as photographers, DJ’s, florists & videographers that I’ve worked with. I am also referred by several beautiful venues . Past clients will also refer friends & family to me which is such a compliment. I do get occasional bookings from advertising online.

We offer everything you need for your next event, including event design, event management, event marketing, event catering, event entertainment, and all the other myriad services that help make every event we plan a huge success.
